Annie Morrison is originally from eastern Washington and Montana. Following a degree in biochemistry from Washington State University, she received her doctorate in medicine from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri. She completed her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia followed by a Dermatopathology fellowship under Clay Cockerell at Cockerell Dermatopathology in conjunction with the UTSouthwestern Medical Center. Annie currently works as a pathologist and dermatopatholgist at the Yellowstone Pathology Institute in Billings, Montana.
She is particularly interested in infections and infectious diseases, digital pathology and the use of smart phones for photomicroscopy, and the role of social media as a tool for medical professional use.
